Sadly, this building suffered a devastating fire in the middle of the night on December 4, 2007. This was our original Peppertree School campus. Built in 1911, this site was one of the Historical Homes in Los Gatos. It is with great hope and excitement that we look forward to rebuilding on this half-acre plot which offers large, shady playgrounds with sand areas, grass and swing area, and a gardening area.

Our second site is located on Los Gatos-Almaden Road at the corner of Union Ave. This school, with its charming country look, was originally the Westerner School well over 30 years ago. It now houses our popular Infant & Toddler programs plus additional 2- and 3-year-old preschool programs. It has large, bright, sunny classrooms and two playgrounds with grass, concrete, swings, a big sandbox, and lots of shade trees. This second school was opened in July of 2002. We start infants at 6 weeks, toddlers at 12 months, and preschool starts at 2 years going up to age 4.

Our third site is located on Los Gatos Boulevard, between Lark Avenue and Highway 85. This charming newly remodeled home is the new site of our private Kindergarten and before- and after-school programs with small class sizes, computer lab, art room, creative play room, and lots of outdoor play areas in a safe, gated environment. This site includes a variety of grass, concrete, and tanbark play areas with climbing structures, basketball hoops, as well as kids’ gardening areas. These school-age kids are actively involved in the community and enjoy a wide range of field trips throughout the year (see Programs and Community for more information.)
