Nurturing Environment

We understand that the transition from home to school can be challenging for both parents and their Sweet Peas. That’s why we strive to create a warm and welcoming environment that feels like a home away from home. Our caregivers work to build strong bonds with each Sweet Pea to ensure they feel loved, secure, and happy.

To help new families transition to our caregivers, parents are expected to drop in with their Sweet Pea during the first two weeks of enrollment. This helps ensure your child feels comfortable being in the new environment.

Individual Care

We understand that every Sweet Pea is unique and has their own needs and preferences. That’s why our Infant Program provides individualized care and attention to meet each Sweet Pea’s needs. Our caregivers work closely with parents to develop a “Needs and Services” plan that meets each Sweet Pea’s needs, including feeding, napping, diapering, and play.

Feeding Schedule

Our caregivers work with parents to establish a feeding schedule that meets the individual needs of each Sweet Pea. Parents are responsible for providing all meals and snacks. No food or drink sharing is allowed between Sweet Peas. This ensures your child’s safety and allows you to know that all of your child’s dietary needs are being met.

Peppertree Schools requests that only ‘healthy’ meals be provided for the Sweet Peas. We do not serve sweets or overly salty snacks for infants who are eating solids.

Parents are required to fill out “Needs and Services” forms regularly to reflect the quickly changing needs of your sprouting Sweet Pea

Napping and Bedding

We provide a safe and comfortable sleeping environment for Sweet Peas. Each Sweet Pea is provided with their own crib, and we follow parents’ instructions regarding nap and sleep schedules. Our caregivers monitor each Sweet Pea’s sleep and will communicate with parents to adjust the schedule as needed to ensure your child is well-rested and comfortable.

Diaper Services

We provide diaper-changing services as needed throughout the day. Parents do not need to provide diapers for Sweet Peas.

Our caregivers work to maintain a clean and hygienic environment, and we use best practices to sanitize and disinfect the changing station after each diaper change.

Play and Enrichment

We believe that play is an essential part of your Sweet Pea’s development. Our caregivers provide a variety of age-appropriate toys and activities that promote gross and fine motor skills, sensory development, and socialization.

Communication with Parents

We understand the importance of open communication between caregivers and parents. Our caregivers provide daily updates on each Sweet Pea’s activities, feeding, napping, and diapering. We also encourage parents to communicate with us regularly to ensure we are meeting each Sweet Pea’s needs.

At Peppertree Schools, we are committed to providing the highest quality care and education for infants. Contact us today to learn more about our Infant Program and to schedule a tour of our facility.
